Pod\u013ea niektor\u00fdch odborn\u00edkov priviezli toto plemeno do Peru po\u010das \u010d\u00ednskej pris\u0165ahovaleckej vlny, kr\u00e1tko potom, ako prezident Peru don Ram\u00f3n Castilla schv\u00e1lil z\u00e1kon na zru\u0161enie otroctva. In\u00ed vedci sa naopak domnievaj\u00fa, \u017ee plemeno poch\u00e1dza z africk\u00e9ho kontinentu a priviezli ho nom\u00e1di. <\/p>\n

\u010eal\u0161\u00edm vysvetlen\u00edm by mohol by\u0165 dokonca pr\u00edchod \u013eud\u00ed so svojimi psami cez Behringovu cestu z \u00c1zie do Ameriky. Medzi\u010dasom u\u017e m\u00e1me okrem domnienok aj ur\u010dit\u00e9 d\u00f4kazy v podobe zobrazen\u00ed na keramike r\u00f4znych civiliz\u00e1ci\u00ed predinkovskej doby (Vicus, Mochica, Chancay, Chancay pod vplyvom Tiahuanacoide a Chimu), v mnoh\u00fdch pr\u00edpadoch nah\u00e1\u010d vytla\u010dil pumu, hada alebo sokola, toho najm\u00e4 v kult\u00fare Chancay. <\/p>\n

Z t\u00fdchto zobrazen\u00ed m\u00f4\u017eeme vyvodzova\u0165, \u017ee nah\u00e1\u010d sa objavil v priebehu archeologick\u00e9ho obdobia zn\u00e1meho ako predinkovsk\u00e1 doba, teda medzi 300 pred Kr. a 1400 po Kr. <\/p>\n
